The trucking industry has been vilified and taken advantage of for years. You can’t drive a mile without seeing a billboard with a lawyer on top of a big truck! Small businesses have suffered. Insurance costs are ridiculous. We are hopeful that this verdict will bring about real change in our state!

The litigious environment in our state makes it more and more difficult for small businesses to justify the cost of operations. Thank you Bryan for speaking on behalf of our industry today!

Bryan Hay with Hay Brothers drove from Lake Charles to testify in House Insurance today about the high cost of truck insurance. Their insurance premiums have increased 500% over the last 10 years.

They are targeted by the trial bar daily because they are perceived to be the deep pockets. This has to be stopped.
