With a proven track record in dealing with the on-demand transportation needs for blood and platelets to hospitals, blood banks and laboratories, Capital Courier Services, LLC (CCS), a specialized courier service focusing on the medical and healthcare industry, is seeking 1099 Independent contractors to join our team as a Medical Courier in Johnstown, PA.
Deliveries are local and regional and are set up on an as needed, day-to-day basis. If contracted, you will be responsible for transporting medical products like blood, plasma, specimens and medical supplies to and from customer’s sites and hospitals.
This position requires that you drive your own vehicle. Fuel and Maintenance is at contractor's expense.
Pay is based on a CPLM (Cent per loaded mile) Pickup to Destination. Some routed work is occasionally available.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Medical courier experience preferred, but not required
-2010 or newer vehicle
-Commitment to Excellence
-Valid drivers license
-Clean 3 year Motor Vehicle Record
-Ability to communicate effectively
-Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, climbing and overhead lifting.
-Requires sharp attention to detail and a strong ability to keep a schedule
