🚛✨ Thank you to the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association for hosting an educational session on safety in transportation. Team member, Curt, had the opportunity to attend the SWEF visit, diving deep into the ins and outs of roadside inspections. We're committed to staying informed and ensuring safety on the road. This month's employee of the month is Jimmy Racinowski. He began driving professionally in 1971. In the last 53 years, he has driven all sorts of trucks between tow trucks and asphalt trucks, spending the last 19 years with our company. He is proud to share that he hasn’t had a traffic violation in 47 years (it was his birthday and he had his soon-to-be wife with him and he got pulled over for speeding- he said he wanted to get home!) Reflecting on his career, he jokes that his favorite part of the job is “getting out of the truck,” but he also values the independence that comes with driving. Outside of work, his hobbies include attending car shows, traveling, and fishing. His favorite travel destination is Arizona, where he loves the wide-open spaces and mountain scenery of the Southwest. Congratulations, Jimmy! We’re glad to have you on our team! years

This month's employee of the month is Reggie Lewis. Reggie has been a professional driver since 2002 and has recently come upon his five-year anniversary with Hagen Johnson Trucking. He says he loves the independence that comes with being a driver, allowing him to handle company business in the way he sees best. In his free time, Reggie enjoys fishing, cheering for the Raiders, and watching movies. Chris said, “Reggie is always flexible and accommodating when we need him to do something. He is always polite and has a can-do attitude!” Congratulations, Reggie!

This month's employee of the month is mechanic Curt VanAcker, who has worked at Hagen Johnson Trucking since December. Manager Ryan says, “Curt is an awesome team member to have in the shop. He’s always on time and ready to work. He’s a quick learner and always willing to help wherever needed.”

Curt says he learned most of what he knows about mechanics from his dad. His favorite part about his job is servicing the trucks. Curt has recently headed up the painting project at the trucking office. It looks great, Curt!

Outside of work, Curt enjoys hunting and fishing and does mechanic work and painting on the side.
