⚠️ PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT FOR HOUSTON ⚠️

With the FIFA World Cup 2026 just days away, the FBI is warning Houstonians and visitors to stay alert as more than HALF A MILLION people are expected to flood the city.

Federal officials say their biggest concern is the threat of “lone offenders” — individuals acting alone to carry out violent attacks in crowded areas.

🚨 Authorities are urging everyone attending games, fan zones, transit hubs, and public gatherings to:
• Stay aware of your surroundings
• Know where exits are located
• Report suspicious behavior immediately
• Never assume “someone else already called”

FBI Houston officials say suspicious activity could include people overly focused on security measures, crowd movements, or behavior that “just doesn’t make sense.”
