We will be working with local employers to coordinate various low-cost initiatives for providing better commuting options, i.e., vans, carpooling, bus, etc. These initiatives will help protect our environment, reduce cost of travel, and enable employers to employ and retain employees. Hopefully, this program will help pave the way for public transportation by CCTA. To date, funding for Hinesburg Rides has come from the Town of Hinesburg, charitable contributions, a “United We Ride” grant, a CCMPO Transportation Action grant, and a SCHIP grant. We will continue to apply for grants when available. Please consider what you can do to help support Hinesburg Rides. All donations are tax deductible and checks should be made out to the Hinesburg Community Resource Center, with Hinesburg Rides noted in the memo section. I also believe in this organization. I have been involved since 2007 and have been the Chairperson since 2012. We provide help to all Hinesburg residents and surrounding towns in so many ways. Please help us continue to provide all the services we do. Thank you so much.

Thanks to the Hinesburgh Public House for holding a Community Dinner to benefit the Hinesburg Community Resources’ programs. Also, thanks to everyone who attended the delicious dinner on December 4th. The dinner raised $650.

Come join the Hinesburg Business and Profession Association’s Holiday Social this Thursday, the 13th, at the Hinesburgh Public House. This year’s event will benefit the Hinesburg Community Resource Center’s most worthwhile programs. Come join the fun from 5:30 to 7:30.

Mark Your Calendars!

The Hinesburgh Public House will be holding their December 4th Community Dinner to benefit the Hinesburg Community Resource Center (HCRC) and its very worthwhile programs. HCRC programs are: Food Shelf, Emergency Funds, Friends of Family, Hinesburg Rides, and Medical Equipment Lending. Please mark your calendars! The format for the dinners has changed so you need to make reservations for either the 5:30 or 7:00 seating. Family style 3-4 course meals are served at the two seatings. The price of the meal is $25, not including drinks or tip, and half of that goes to HCRC to help provide much needed services to our community. Please save the date and come out to support HCRC.
