It has been brought to our attention that there are Rumors going around town that A American Cab Co and Night and Day Taxi are "Closed" or "No Longer Operating." These Rumors are 100% FALSE. We have found the reason(s) behind these Rumors., and will be taking action to stop them.
If you use us on a daily or weekly basis you will notice a few changes in our company. You'll also notice that we have made some important changes to our driver pool and are accepting applications from reliable trustworthy drivers. With this being said we have also made a few changes to our operating hours. This is a Temporary thing and hopefully we will back to our normal operating hours soon.
Our Temporary Hours are the following:
8 am til 8 pm 7 days a week.

If you are in need of a ride during the hours we are Temporary closed, Please call us the day before and set up a Pre-Arrange pickup and we will make arrangements for someone to come pick you up. We are very sorry and would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone. We look forward to serving you! Amanda and Doc.

Current operating hours 8am-8pm, 7 days a week. For after hours pickup, please call ahead and set up a pre-arrange.

It has been brought to our attention that there are a few folks out there that our confusing us with our Competition. We have the White, Ford Crown Victorias with the American Bald Eagle and American Flag on the side and our sister company Night and Day Taxi has Dark Blue, Ford Crown Victorias, with the Moon and Sun logo on the side. We are nothing like our competition and we thrive to be the best taxi cab company in town.

With the Covid-19 having most places closed, everyone at A American Cab are still here for all your essential travel needs. Need a ride to work? We got you covered. Need a ride to the grocery store or to the doctor? We got you covered there too.
Each and everyone of our drivers take their jobs and this virus serious and we have developed a plan to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. After each and ever customer, our drivers are disinfecting the door handles, seat belts, seats and more. We are doing our part to keep our customers protected and we ask you to do your part to keep our drivers protected. We ask if you have any of the Covid-19 symptoms to please stay home. If you need anything from the store, we can pick it up for you and delivery it with no contact. Just use your credit card and pay over the phone.
Our hours are currently 8 am - 8 pm. If you need a ride during the time we are closed, please call the day before and set up a pre-arrange pickup and we will send someone to get you.
We would like to thank each and everyone of our customers, for their support and understanding during this time. We hope each and everyone of you are safe and well. We will all make it thru this one day at a time.

Due to the Coronavirus and the Government ordered closings, our employees are taking every precaution to keep our cars clean and disinfected.

If you are unable to get out and/or need food delivered we are here to help. As of today, Tuesday March 17 at 5pm NC Governor Roy Cooper has ordered All restaurants and bars to close for dine-in customers. Drive thru and take out are still available.

If you love driving, meeting new people and getting paid to do so; then we have the job for you! A American Cab Company is looking for Full time and/or Part time Drivers. Must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid North Carolina Drivers License (all out of state drivers license will need to be switched to NC if hired) An Asheville taxi driver permit is required therefore all employees must to be able to pass a background check, physical and have a good driving record. Looking for Day shift drivers, Night shift drivers and weekend drivers. Part time and Full time positions available. Pay is based on Commission. Drivers receive 1/2 of their total cab fare and 100% of their tips. Drivers are responsible for their own gas. Contact Amanda 828 489 1245 or Doc 828 337 8874 to set up an interview.
