On the hard days of being an entrepreneur…. On the days I want to quit (which I’ve wanted to do 1k+ times) I remind myself why I keep going.
As an entrepreneur it feels like you’re always working. In my business if I’m not driving… it’s booking runs, replying to texts, emails, being stopped at the store, going to meetings, working on ads, managing, and so much more. And then when there is a day that’s quiet you’re stressing on not making money or feeling like you’re forgetting something. The list goes on and on.
Being able to see my family, schedule around my family, and meet the people I’ve met has been an amazing opportunity. Being able to pay for our home, support our family and that’s 5 kids, my wife and I and two dogs. There’s many pro’s also below that I’ll add.
Here’s what’s great about being an entrepreneur also.
🚀 Freedom & Flexibility
* You’re your own boss – you make the calls.
* Flexible schedule (even if it’s busy!) — you can often choose when and how you work.
* Ability to shape your business around your family, faith, lifestyle, or passions.
💰 Income Potential
* No fixed paycheck ceiling — your earnings can grow with your effort, systems, and reputation.
* Multiple income streams become possible (services, partnerships, referrals, expansions, etc.).
* You build something that can become a valuable asset, not just a job.
🌱 Personal Growth
* Entrepreneurship forces you to grow in:
* Leadership
* Communication
* Problem solving
* Confidence
* Creativity
* You learn skills many people never get exposed to.
❤️ Purpose & Impact
* You get to create something meaningful.
* You can solve real problems for people.
* You build relationships with customers who trust you and recommend you.
🏆 Accomplishment & Legacy
* There’s pride in saying, “I built this.”
* You can create a legacy for your family or community.
* Every client served, review earned, or goal hit feels personal and rewarding.
“Perks of entrepreneurship: No boss clocking you in… but also no boss fixing your problems 😂. The upside? Freedom, purpose, unlimited growth potential, and the chance to build something you’re proud of.
