The Neon Pickle Bus Service We are an all purpose Bus Service. Established 2/1/14. We have a shuttle bus vans that can hold 14 passengers. Security deposits are none refundable.

Sober bus/ General use fee in the Hayward, WI area:
Due to gas price increase single rider fee within 5 miles will be increased to $8 plus $2 each additional mile. Group rates start at
$5 per person First 5 miles $2 each additional mile after that per person groups 2-4 people. Ask about our group rates for partys of 5-14 people. Bar Hop fee
$2 per person from bar to bar within 2 miles. Charter Bus

fee Service is limited to no more than 50 mile radius of Hayward, WI area.
$275 minimum half down security deposit to hold required. Rate brake down $2 per mile & $20per hr. Wedding charters start at $300 minimum. We will park at your reception and let your guests load continually. You tell us minimum riders. To get ride call me at 715-699-5558. If I don't answer leave message. I always have my phone. Well the final step has happened. As of 3:15am Sunday morning The Neon Pickle Bus Service finished its last run. As of 11:30am today The Neon Pickle Bus Service banking account has been closed out. The van formally known as The Pickle Bus will now be used as a backup personal vehicle. Its a mixed day of emotions after 11.5yrs.

I have 1 secured charter on June 7th.

Then the time has come. Since Covid business has been down to the point it is no longer sustainable to continue running. Insurance alone is 2/3 everything that was banked last year. The prices paid for simple pick ups and drop-offs doesn't cover more than gas. Without charters it's costing more to operate then is being made.
Also when I started this I was in my 30's. In just a couple months I'll be 50. I can't do those Fridays anymore where I'm up at 5am Friday morning for school bus route. Then I stay up till anywhere from 3am-5am Saturday morning. It's taking days to recover.
I've met some great people, even got to drive a legendary rock band. A lot of my regular customers that I seen every year minimum. Some several times a year don't get together anymore due to life happening. I'll miss my groups but always cherish the memories with them
But hopefully I'll still have chances to see some of them. The Neon Pickle Bus Service may be closing but, I will still be driving charters for Hurricane Busing Inc the school bus company I work for. So hopefully I'll still see people I've come to enjoy spending time with.
