We provide essential transportation to medical appointments, shopping, + more. Volunteer, donate, or request a ride today! TASC is a fantastic volunteer opportunity for busy people who think they don't have enough time to volunteer! Volunteer drivers decide how often they are going to drive---once a week, once a month, once in a blue moon! All ride requests & scheduling are handled by the TASC office. Send a message & we'll e-mail the volunteer driver information!

Making a difference can be very specific.
A request comes in from Hampton Falls.
The time works.
The destination works.
You have room in your day.
That is enough for one TASC Rides passenger to get where they need to go.
October 24, 2026 is National Make a Difference Day.
If volunteer driving has been on your mind, this is a practical place to start:

For Rhoda, Crocs started as a practical suggestion.
Her nurse recommended them because they had room when her legs and feet retained fluid and helped protect her feet.
Now she has 12 pairs.
She wears them all year in different colors and designs, and she likes comparing them with the nurses when she goes in for treatment.
October 23, 2026 marks the peak of Croctober.
For Rhoda, the shoes are still practical, but they have also become part of how she shows up for the day.

Dignity can look like being part of the plan.
Not waiting until someone else has time.
Not feeling like the appointment is too much to ask about.
Not having to explain why a grocery trip or treatment visit matters.
For a passenger in North Hampton, a scheduled ride can help keep decisions in their own hands when driving is no longer an option.
October 21, 2026 is Global Dignity Day. At TASC Rides, dignity is part of the reason transportation matters.

Sometimes a new connection starts in a very ordinary way.
A volunteer arrives for a scheduled ride.
The passenger gets settled.
The conversation starts with the weather, an appointment, or a common interest.
October 19, 2026 is New Friends Day.
At TASC Rides, not every ride will turn into a friendship, but they will all feel friendly.

Thank you to everyone who visited The Brook during TASC Rides Days.
October 8-12 gave community members a chance to support TASC Rides by visiting our partner, The Brook. We appreciate them for including us, and we appreciate everyone who made time to stop in during those dates.

A bright plaid hat is easy to spot.
That is why one TASC Rides driver likes to wear one.
For a passenger waiting after an appointment or watching for the right car, a visible detail can make pickup simpler.
October 17, 2026 is Wear Something “Gaudy” Day.
Whether the hat reads as gaudy, cheerful, or just practical, it helps the passenger know who to look for.

Does making the first call feel like the scary part?
Maybe you are not sure if you qualify.
Maybe you do not know what information to have ready.
Maybe there are more unknowns than knowns, and that makes transportation feel even harder to manage.
October 13, 2026 is National Face Your Fears Day.
At TASC Rides, the first step does not have to answer everything.
It can simply help you understand the process, ask questions, and learn what may be possible.
We’re here to help you alleviate your fears.

A ride request does not become an actual ride until a volunteer is available to take it.
That might be a short trip in Hampton Falls.
It might be a return ride from an appointment in Exeter.
It might be an errand that fits neatly into the middle of someone’s day.
TASC Rides volunteer drivers choose requests based on their schedules, comfort level, timing, and distance.
If that kind of availability-based volunteering sounds like it could fit, you can learn more here:

“Your drivers have been amazing with mom. They’re always kind, treating her like an old friend.”
A family member sent us those words after hearing how grateful her mom was to the TASC Rides volunteers who provided her with scheduled rides.
October 11, 2026 is Spread Joy Day.
For us, that does not have to mean something big. Sometimes it is a calm ride, a familiar conversation, or a volunteer taking a little time before heading to the next part of the day.
We are grateful to the drivers who bring that kind of care to the road.

An eye appointment can be the reason for a ride.
For a passenger in Rye, that may mean planning transportation to an exam, a follow-up visit, or another appointment related to vision care.
World Sight Day was earlier this week. It is a good reminder that access to care includes the appointment itself and the transportation needed to get there.
If you are requesting a ride, include the full address, appointment time, and how long the visit is expected to take.
