Last year, Get ’Em and Go Plus More made a donation to help support the Downtown Playground project. Today was the ribbon cutting, and it was pretty neat to see the finished result.

This playground creates opportunities for the young and the young at heart to gather, connect, and make memories. Its inclusive design helps ensure children of all abilities have a place to play and belong.

Transportation is what I do, but supporting projects that bring people together is important to me too. I’m proud our small business could play a small role in creating a space for our community to enjoy for years to come.

Last fall, I had the opportunity to visit FR Conversions in Westminster, Maryland.

As someone who provides accessible transportation, it was fascinating to see where accessible vehicles begin their journey.

This visit gave me a new appreciation for the people, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that go into creating vehicles that help people stay connected to their communities.

This is Sharon hugging my mom tonight. 💛

Sharon was the secretary at the CPA firm that helped my mom years ago, helped me while navigating things after my dad’s business, and has continued to help me while building my own business today.

She was always the first person you saw when you walked in the door. She remembered people, shared stories, made clients feel comfortable, and genuinely cared.

Sometimes the people behind the scenes are the ones who leave the biggest impact.

Tonight we got to celebrate Sharon and all the lives she’s touched over the years. Thank you for always being welcoming, kind, and the type of person who makes people feel seen.

Businesses may run on numbers and paperwork… but great ones are built by good humans.

At the end of a gloomy day, sometimes the sunsets over this field are pretty epic. One of those quiet views somewhere between Lansing and Grand Ledge that reminds us why we’re proud to serve this area every day.
