Let’s all be patriots!

We NEVER discuss politics while performing our work. That said, it is not politics to encourage everyone to exercise the blessing of being able to vote!
I voted today, it was fast, efficient and peaceful. All the neighbors I voted alongside today respected each other, held doors for each other, spoke to each other using “please” and “thank you”.
I am a patriot, I love my country, my state, county & city. I love my neighbors and hope for the best for all of us!

A dose of my own medicine!

I don’t travel too much anymore, but this weekend we are blessed to attend a family wedding in Bozeman, Montana.

We flew Southwest Airlines out of Love Field, connected through Denver to Bozeman.

We drove the mighty suburban to Love Field to find that literally a full third of the parking garage is closed off to be renovated. Finding a parking spot for the suburban was a real challenge. Once we parked, we carried our luggage easily a half mile from our parking spot to the gate. Once we return late Monday night, exhausted, reversing the process will be no fun.

I should have used one of my driving partners! On Wednesday morning, I am taking one of my driving partners and his wife to the airport for their vacation. Next time, I’ll let him return the favor!

The best thing about my job!

Ranch Rides is 6 months old! I can share with you that without a doubt the best part of my job is when I get the chance to do my small part to bring families together.
Of course our primary riders are business travelers. From Oil & Gas, Equine, Aerospace industries to race car drivers and best-selling authors!
But when I am taking grandparents to see their new granddaughter, or families heading up to the northeast to see the leaves change, or a son heading to Florida to care for his father, that’s when I realize that my crazy little job of driving people to and from the airport is important.
I’m so grateful to all of our clients for this first six months, and look forward to going through my first holiday season as a driver and all the great family stories I will be able to have a small part in!
