❗️❗️❗️CVSA Brake Safety Week August 22-28, 2021❗️❗️❗️

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance in partnership with the USDOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is sponsoring their annual campaign to promote brake safety. The goal is to reduce highway crashes caused by poorly maintained braking systems on commercial vehicles.

The inspections will:
❗️identify loose, or missing parts, air or hydraulic fluid leaks, worn linings, pads, drums or rotors, and other faulty brake-system components.
❗️Anti-lock braking system malfunction indicator lamps will be checked and pushrod stroke will be measured when necessary.
❗️Additional items that may be reviewed are CDLs, registration, low-air warning devices, air loss rate, and tractor protection valves.

About Lumina Trans

I am Vladimir, the owner of Lumina Trans INC. I work as a truck driver for 8 years since 2012. I’ve started as a company driver. In 2015 I decided to open my own company so that me and two of my good friends could work in the conditions we wanted and maybe in the future provide the same work conditions for other drivers. Where you could get fair treatment, transparent dispatch and feel like you are in charge. The ideal goal was to build a company with impeccable record so that we could hire people with good experience and we could haul expensive loads that require special skill and attention. Ever since the beginning we went towards this goal, and now we have a 5 years old MC with clean record and good perspective.
