🚨 Carnival Jubilee Packing Reminder: What NOT to Bring 🚨

Before you head to Galveston for your Carnival Jubilee cruise, please double-check your bags. Security may confiscate prohibited items, and some items may not be returned until the end of the cruise.

❌ Do not bring:
• Ma*****na, THC products, CBD products, or illegal drugs
• Weapons, fi****ms, ammunition, knives, tasers, or pepper spray
• Candles, incense, hot plates, clothing irons, or heating devices
• Surge protectors or unsafe electrical items
• Drones
• Hard liquor, beer, or bottled water/sodas in glass or plastic bottles
• Large coolers
• Extension cords or power strips with surge protection
• Open-flame items, fireworks, or anything that creates a fire risk

🍷 Adults age 21+ may bring one sealed 750 mL bottle of wine or champagne per person in their carry-on bag on embarkation day only. Beer and liquor are not allowed.

⚠️ Also remember: smoking, va**ng, and ma*****na use are only allowed in designated areas. Carnival may charge a $500 fee for smoking in a stateroom or balcony.

The advisory follows a significant security operation in Mexico involving the killing of Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho,” leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. According to Mexico’s Defense Department, the operation has resulted in heightened security activity, road blockages, and related concerns across multiple Mexican states.

U.S. officials indicate that the aftermath has triggered expanded alerts in several regions, including Quintana Roo — home to Cozumel, a primary cruise destination for Western Caribbean sailings departing from Galveston.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has urged Texans traveling in Mexico, or those with family members there, to closely follow official U.S. government guidance.
