It takes a village. We’re proud that CCFW’s Transportation team plays a small but meaningful role in this important effort to support mothers and babies in our community. 💙 Check out this story from highlighting how local partners are working together to improve maternal and infant health.

Tarrant County’s 2022 infant mortality rate was 6.08 per 1,000 live births, the fourth-highest rate among similarly large Texas counties.

✨ Big news from Catholic Charities Fort Worth! ✨

After an extensive search for a leader with a bold vision to end poverty, we are overjoyed to announce the return of Heather Reynolds as our next President and CEO!

With the support of our Board and Bishop Michael Olson, Heather will bring her nationally recognized leadership back home to Fort Worth after seven incredible years at the University of Notre Dame’s Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO).

Heather’s story with CCFW began when she was just 22 years old — and by 25, she became CEO. Under her leadership, we transformed how we serve families in need, shifting from short-term aid to long-term, research-backed solutions that truly help people overcome poverty.

Now, she’s coming home to continue that mission with renewed purpose and vision. Heather will officially step into her role in February 2026, with Interim CEO Beth Kwasny leading CCFW until then.

Join us in celebrating Heather’s homecoming and this exciting new chapter for CCFW!
