Please take a look, this is a serious blockage.....

Lane County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol deputies are warning boaters about an obstruction on the McKenzie River approximately one mile upstream from Bellinger Landing. Currently there are two trees down that span almost the entire width of the river.

At current river levels, drift boats may be able to pass if they stay river right; however any movement of the trees or changes in the water levels could make the area impassable. For safety, boaters are being asked to avoid the area and put in at or below Bellinger, or take out before they reach the obstruction, which has been reported to the Oregon State Marine Board.

Boaters can view a list of reported obstructions on the Oregon State Marine Board website by visiting https://www.oregon.gov/osmb/Pages/Reported-Obstructions-Alerts.aspx
