Have you heard the term 'attendant care' but weren't quite sure what it means?

Attendant care is in-home personal support for adults who need help with everyday activities — things like bathing, dressing, grooming, preparing meals, and moving safely around the home. It's provided by trained attendant care workers who come to your loved one's home on a scheduled basis.

This service is not the same as home health nursing. Attendant care focuses on personal daily living tasks, not medical treatments or wound care. It's designed to help people stay in their own homes and communities as long as possible — and for many Kentucky families, it's the piece that makes aging in place truly possible.
