We are seeking an EMT Basic to join our team! You will assess injuries, administer medical care, and deal with non emergency situations and/or transportation.
Responsibilities:
Transport injured or sick individuals to medical facilities.
Communicate with medical personnel at medical facilities.
Administer prescribed first-aid treatment on site, or in equipped vehicle per protocol.
Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatcher
Work 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, 14-hour shifts.
Other duties and responsibilities as delegated by management team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an EMT in NJ, PA, NY.
Knowledge of first AID and and CPR procedures.
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Ability to execute orders from supervisors.
Ability to lift 200 pounds (300 pounds with assistance)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
License:
Current EMT Certification (Required)
Current EMT and CPR in good standings with DOH. (Required)
Current Driver License in good standing with DMV with clean MVR. (Required)

Bi-weekly
Incentives:
A tier based promotions and compliment system based on employment history with company.
Compensation:
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour.
Incentives and Bonuses will be discussed during interview.
Full Time and Per Diem positions available.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must submit a 5 year driver’s abstract from DMV (dated within the last 90 days).
Applicant will undergo a pre-employment motor vehicle records check.
Applicant will undergo a pre-employment criminal background check.
Applicant is will undergo a pre-employment substance abuse test and is subject to random substance abuse testing.
Applicant will undergo a pre-employment medical screening.
Willingness and/or ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends; work on an on-call basis; work irregular duty assignments; wear a uniform and safety equipment; work outside in inclement weather; work under undesirable and hazardous conditions; conform to agency grooming standards; work alone; attend educational sessions as required; travel out of town as needed and not limited to other company policies.
Physical and mental health- applicants must demonstrate a state of physical and mental health consistent with the ability to perform assigned duties.
On the road driving assessment will be preformed (for driver applicants) 21 Y.O. + ONLY.
Maintains and updates as necessary required EMS competencies.
