There's an important lesson below.
I post this because this was what the sermon was on last Sunday.
I'm posting this because, I will be closing my business and selling my truck once it's paid off next spring. The reason? I'm going back to school, to Martin Luther College.
I heard God's whisper through friends, co-workers, family, and many of you. I'm not meant to be a truck driver. Yes, God did give me the ability to drive a truck to survive until now. But, these days in the truck are coming to an end.
Thank you to all who have helped me along this path, and the journey to become successful in business but, money isn't everything. I don't like what I do, and haven't liked it in the truck for 2.5 years of the 3 I've been driving.
Once the truck is paid for, I'm selling her. I will still work for the company that I'm currently
Leasing to but run local (it's been worked out with the owner, who is very supportive of me following this dream and becoming all I can be.)
The Lord sent me an earthquake and now I'm listening. 🙂
God's Blessings!
There [Elijah] went into a cave and spent the night. And the word of the LORD came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?”… The LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
