We are currently looking for teams and individual drivers to help with our on-demand designated driver and driver-for-hire services. Drivers typically work between the hours of 6 pm and 4 am. Shifts available 7 nights a week. We also have the opportunity for drivers to make $300 a month by wrapping your car.
You have the option to work as a Lead Driver, Chase Driver or both. Each position is compensated differently, has different benefits and unique challenges.
Successful Lead Drivers can be promoted to a Zone Manager and beyond that to an Area Manager. Our company offers a lucrative career path for anyone with a strong work ethic.
Lead Driver
As a lead driver you are the face of the organization and our mission to proactively prevent impaired driving.
When working as a lead driver you will not be driving your own car. You will ride in the car provided by a chase driver. As a Lead Driver your primary responsibilities are;
-While working, always wear the proper driver attire. Clean, crisp and wrinkle-free. Mask and sanitizer to be used as necessary.
-Work professionally and carefully with the chase driver (your partner)
-Drive our clients and their cars with the utmost care
All lead drivers:
-Shall have no more than 3 points on a 3 year MVR.
-Must have valid FL drivers license
-Proof of full coverage automobile insurance
-Must pass a pre-screening and background check
-Must have an outgoing, friendly, genuine personality
-Must understand and fully embrace the SRA mission
-Must have a newer model smartphone with GPS; Android or Apple
Lead Driver Starting Compensation
30% of the fare & 100% of the tip. (Average fare is $40)
Chase Driver
As a Chase Driver your three primary responsibilities are;
-While working always wear business casual or the proper driver attire if your may be driving a client
-Provide safe, professional and attentive transportation and chase support for the Lead Driver
-Ensure that your care is in safe, proper working order with a full tank and working power ports
All chase drivers:
-Shall have no more than 3 points on a 3 year MVR. (You must provide us with a current copy)
-Must have valid FL drivers license
-Must have a newer model smartphone with GPS; Android or Apple
-Must have unlimited data plan
SafeRide America.org will offer any safe driver who owns a vehicle (car, trunk or van) the opportunity to rent their outer vehicle space to anyone who believes in Saferide mission to proactively prevent all forms of impaired driving.We have authorized wrapping stations around the city that will get the job done professionally. SafeRide wraps are completely removable and do not damage your vehicle.
Our SafeRide wrap Ads campaigns run for 30 days in various cities and Drivers will be compensated monthly for allowing us to promote our new designated driving service at our new safezones.
They make extra income (a minimum of $300 a month) just for driving around town.
Requirement: (mirror saferide americas requirements)
1] You must be a minimum of 19 years of age.
2] You must have (and upload for verification via our 3rd party background checker) a valid driver's licence, proof of insurance and ownership in your / State / Country where you will be driving. SafeRide can ask you to re-upload these documents at any time, as well as ask you for spot-check verification of a photo of your ad or make a background request at any time.
3] You must have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
4] Your vehicle must be fit to pass a random inspection by Saverideamerica.org to ensure wrap quality.
5] You are required to have and maintain a clean driving record.
6] Your owned vehicle must be of the year 2010 or newer.
