A well-designed upfit does more than organize equipment. It can improve safety, reduce unnecessary movement, and help teams work more efficiently in the field.
J3 Upfitters recently completed a custom two-vehicle build for Mizuno focused on mobility, efficiency, and real-world functionality.
One of the biggest upgrades was creating a mobile solution for transporting heavy glove steamers and equipment using a ramp system paired with rolling Sortimo WorkMo setups.
No unnecessary lifting.
No wasted movement.
Just a safer, more efficient workflow built around the people using the vehicle every day.
The build also included shelving and partitions to improve organization, maximize storage, and enhance safety on the road.
Too often, companies think upfitting is simply about adding shelves or storage. In reality, the right setup can impact employee safety, daily efficiency, equipment accessibility, and even how long a team can sustainably perform the job.
Because when an upfit is designed with purpose, the impact extends far beyond the vehicle.
