To those, I recommend to start a taxi business and don't charge upfront, then we'll see how people will treat you. Then we can talk. I'm not disrespecting anyone or calling no one a thief. Thanks!

Gas price was $1.9/gallon when we used to charge $10 for local rides.

Hi Everyone,
Have you noticed that there's no Uber (or Lyft) available in dekalb anymore?
Also not even another taxi company other than us?
It's because of the rules and regulations of the city of Dekalb that haven't been changed since 2008.
I think it's time for some big changes. Please share this to raise awareness. I'm working on offering the best service we can. Thanks!

Driver needed for evening and night shifts.
As required by law, any driver needs a "Taxi driver license" in the city of Dekalb. License can be printed in the City of Dekalb municipal building at:
164 East Lincoln Highway
DeKalb, IL 60115 .
The City license fee is $75 and it takes 2 months for them to process if it's your first time driving in DEKALB county.
