Community Services, Inc. is actively seeking motivated and reliable full-time and part-time drivers to join our dedicated Transportation Department. We proudly operate public transportation services that serve residents across Navarro and Ellis Counties, providing essential mobility options. We are looking for committed individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a focus on safety to ensure secure, efficient rides for all passengers.

Key qualifications include:
- Dependable, flexible team players who can adapt to varying schedules, including some Saturday shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement is preferred; however, applicants without a CDL are encouraged to apply, and training opportunities are available.
- Bilingual applicants fluent in English and Spanish are highly encouraged to enhance service accessibility is a plus.
- All drivers must successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, along with drug and alcohol screenings, and undergo a criminal background assessment.
- US Citizenship or legal permanent residence is required.

**Important Announcement: Weather-Related Service Closure**

In light of the winter weather forecast for the Ellis and Navarro County areas, and based on guidance from the National Weather Service and local officials, we want to inform you that we expect road conditions to deteriorate tonight, January 23, 2026, through Monday, January 26, 2026, creating unsafe travel conditions. Consequently, Community Services, Inc. (CSI) and Community Transit Service (CTS) will be closed.

We will continuously monitor the weather and re-evaluate conditions to determine the safest course of action for Tuesday, January 27th. We will keep you informed of any updates.

The safety of our community and CSI staff is our highest priority. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this closure.

Holiday Closure Notice

Dear Community Members,

Please note that Community Transit Service (CTS) will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays from December 24, 2025, through January 1, 2026. Regular service will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026.

The main office of Community Services, Inc. (CSI) will be closed for the holidays from December 24, 2025, through January 2, 2026, and will reopen with regular hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. On behalf of everyone at Community Transit Service and Community Services, Inc., we wish you a safe and joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
