It was my honor to share the great work that NH has done to advance community transportation services for all at the Thriving Communities Network Conference hosted at USDOT. TCN like CCAM works across federal agencies to improve policy, funding opportunities and deliver technical assistance to the states. Special thanks to my FTA colleagues Danielle and Lynn and the team at the Volpe Center who organized the conference. At a time when we are so politically polarized it is important to realize how many incredible people in government are working to make our lives better.

Working hard with our partners to get this critical study and funding across the finish line. Better data means better policy decisions and improved services for Granite Staters.

The shortage of safe, reliable transportation for older Granite Staters and the direct care workers who support them at home has been a concern for healthy aging advocates. The New Hampshire Commission on Aging hopes to improve options with nearly $400,000 in federal money.
