The reality? There’s a lot more happening behind every ride.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation is a specialized service designed to help individuals safely access the healthcare they need. That means trained and credentialed drivers with thorough background checks, thoughtful coordination, accessible transportation, and personal assistance getting riders safely from point A to point B. 🚐 🏥

For many of our riders, simply having a vehicle show up isn’t enough. They need a transportation provider that understands their individual needs and is prepared to serve them with patience, professionalism, and care.

At Tristar, we take that responsibility seriously. Because NEMT isn’t just about getting someone somewhere... it’s about providing a safe, reliable connection to care. 💙

During Child Passenger Safety Week, we're highlighting a responsibility that matters every day at Tristar: protecting our youngest passengers.

From proper restraints and safe driving practices to trained drivers, well-maintained vehicles, and careful attention at every pickup and drop-off, passenger safety isn't one step in our process—it's part of every step!

We're proud of the drivers, families, schools, and transportation professionals who share that responsibility and work together to help children travel each day safely.

Because when a child is along for the ride, safety always comes first. 🚐

Safety starts with knowing the right process and making sure everyone on our team is prepared. 💙

Our Fleet and Facilities Coordinator, Kim, recently spent time with Tristar’s Management Team demonstrating the proper process for safely securing a wheelchair in our newest wheelchair-accessible van. 🚐

Hands-on training like this gives our team the opportunity to stay familiar with our equipment, reinforce proper procedures, and better understand the experience of the riders we serve.

At Tristar, safety isn’t limited to the people behind the wheel. From our drivers and fleet team to our leadership, it’s a responsibility we all share, and continued education helps keep safety at the center of every ride.🦽

We’re excited to welcome our student riders for another school year and proud to play a part in helping them get where they need to go safely and reliably each day.

Of course, a great school year wouldn’t be possible without the drivers behind the wheel! These members of Team Tristar help make those daily trips possible. 🚐💙

For our drivers, student transportation is about more than getting from home to school and back again. It’s about building trust, providing consistency, and being a familiar, friendly face that students and their families can count on throughout the year.

To all of our student riders: We hope the 2026–2027 school year is filled with learning, growth, new friendships, and plenty of reasons to smile. We’re excited to be along for the ride!
