Raise Your Rates Dispatching and Brokerage Services was developed by former brokers to get carriers the rates they deserve regardless of shifts in the market. If you’ve been in this industry since the beginning of the year then you know exactly what I’m talking about. Rates in January and February for lanes were much higher than they are now. This represents a huge shift and not in a good way for carriers.
So how do we stop this market shift ? Same way rail workers got higher wages working on the trains. They unionized and threatened to strike. Key word in that statement was UNIONIZE ‼️ As an owner operator or small fleet owner you’re probably thinking this doesn’t apply to us or we can’t really unionize with 3 trucks; how big of a difference can we make ? A huge difference to your companies pockets and your drivers pockets. This is actually the concept Raise Your Rates was founded on. Here at Raise Your Rates we want to be the leader in unionizing owner/operator & mini fleet operations. We want to be able to centralize where majority of the owner/operators get dispatched and if they are not getting dispatched with us at least get dispatched by a partnering dispatching company of Raise Your Rates.
What we can’t have in the FTL/LTL industry is where we are constantly under cutting rates to get the quick dollar. It only hurts you in the long run. Now brokers are not even trying to pay you guys for gas on deadheads. No disrespect but foreign drivers are a huge part of this problem reasons why Raise Your Rates can reach any driver despite language barriers we might run into because the whole concept is to centralize where the owner/operator gets dispatched as a whole.
