A little upgrade to our equipment just in time for summer travel. The smaller wheels on the car are called dollies. They make it possible for us to tow AWD/4WD cars with our wrecker, which has more room for passengers. They will also make it easier to grab more than one vehicle if we respond to an accident.

LL Pelling will be in town (weather permitting) starting on Monday, May 11 2026, for road repairs and chip sealing. The affected areas are 5th Ave between Lombard & Smith, 8th Ave between Smith and Ball, and Piatt St between 5th and 6th. Please do not park on the roadways next week until the road work is completed, to help ensure the work gets done quickly and without any need to tow vehicles. Thank you!

It seems we may be having problems with our phone line. Most of our calls seem to be getting through but some from business landline’s are not. So in case you didn’t know the dirt roads are mud today. Make sure you stay off of them or heck give us a call if we can reach you we will get you out.

The accident we worked this morning. The person driving was fine. We take pride in trying to make sure it looks like nothing happened when we are done. Sometimes that means putting on rubber boots and being grateful the waters not to deep. You can see where we had to drag the truck back up the hill also.

The Snack Shack is moved back to its summer time location at Lowe Park in Marion. We placed it in City Square Park for the winter last season. Thanks to the city of Marion’s public works department for helping us get it in place without destroying the grass and flower beds! Take a walk and see if you can find where we put it!

We’re pretty excited to work with some great individuals too! Had both the heavy wrecker and medium duty wrecker on scene today and safely got this rig back on its wheels. *edited to add…we work a lot of accident scenes and do not post pictures of them. Our customers don’t won’t to see there bad day on Facebook!

This is what you get for your 50 dollar tow. Absolutely no lights on the vehicle being towed or the dollies pulling it. Dangerous not just for the person towing it but for all the other drivers around it. Good tow trucks are not cheap and cheap tow trucks are not good.
