Just pulled this old girl out of 30 years storage. The gentleman in the blue denim shirt is the one selling it to its new owner. The guy selling it got it from his dad who bought it brand new off the showroom floor in 1957. He dated his then girlfriend in it. When they got married his dad gave it to them as a wedding gift. They raised 2 kids and took it all over North America on trips and used it as a camper. 218,000 miles and on its second engine later they parked it because something minor broke. Then life happened and they never got back to it. The lovely wife laughed and said the daughter was made in it. LOL! Unfortunately, their son passed and the daughter had her plate full so they sold it to a family friend. It took almost 2 hours to load this car. Not because it was hard to load but because we needed to hear it's life story. There is no way I can repeat the entire story here but I am glad to share a little bit of it today.
