Important Travel Update for Our Clients:

Spirit Airlines has officially ceased operations as of today (May 2, 2026) and all Spirit flights have been canceled.

If you currently have a ticket booked through Spirit Airlines, please do not head to the airport without checking your flight status first. At this time, travelers are being advised to make alternate arrangements and monitor their email/payment method for refund updates.

We wanted to share this information as soon as possible so none of our clients make an unnecessary trip to the airport.

We also want to say that we feel for all Spirit Airlines employees and their families affected by this sudden closure. Losing a job unexpectedly is never easy, and we sincerely wish them all the best moving forward.

Please also keep in mind that with Spirit no longer operating, this could create higher demand on other airlines, which may lead to increased ticket prices and limited availability in the coming days.

I personally handle all scheduling while also driving, so during busy times—and with my constantly changing schedule—I can get backed up.

If I don’t answer, I’m likely driving or getting some rest due to my constantly changing schedule. Texting is always the best way to reach me so everything is documented and I can respond quicker.

I do my best to respond as quickly as possible and will get back to you as soon as I can.

When texting for a ride, please include:

• Name
• Pickup address
• Date & time (round trip)
• Number of passengers
• Airport
• Preferred arrival time
• Flight info (screenshot of your itinerary is preferred)

The more info I have upfront, the faster I can get you booked 👍

As travel picks up and with everything going on lately—including the recent government-related disruptions — one of the most common questions I’ve been getting lately is: “How are the TSA lines?”

Honestly, I haven’t had many clients report major issues. While I’ve heard some stories of longer wait times, I haven’t personally experienced or received consistent feedback of excessive delays.

That said, here’s a helpful tool you can use to check real-time TSA wait times for airports across the country. I’ve specifically looked at O’Hare and Midway, and it’s a great way to stay updated before heading out:

Yesterday I had the absolute honor of driving a young man home to his family after time away serving in the military. Being part of that reunion—especially just in time for the holidays—truly felt like one of those real-life moments you see on TV, where a service member surprises their family. It honestly gave me chills.
