As many of you have been aware, The Motorcoach and Ground Transportation industry has been enduring an incredible hardship related to the COVID-19 pandemic since March of this year. There are more than 3 million people in this industry with families that have been affected by this pandemic, primarily consisting of small businesses. Unfortunately, we do not expect our industry to return to normal anytime soon. Hard-working people who have done their best to stay in business and provide for their families will soon be laid off or have to close their small businesses down if nothing changes.

This past week, the industry has been advised that United States Senators Jack Reed (D-RI) and Susan Collins (R-ME) are preparing to introduce the Coronavirus Economic Relief for Transportation Services Act aka the CERTS Act. This bill will give a much needed economic relief for the bus and motorcoach industry.
