It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved founder, Mr. Robert Wright, has gone home to be with the Lord at the age of 90. In 1961, Mr. Robert and his brother James began building what would become Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc., not only as a respected heavy civil contracting business but as a true legacy of faith, family, and a profound dedication to serving others.

Mr. Robert’s life was a testament to hard work, unwavering integrity, and deep Christian values. Through his leadership, he inspired each of us to walk humbly and serve diligently, knowing that everything we build here is for a greater purpose beyond ourselves. While we grieve his passing, we rejoice with heaven, where he has been welcomed home and has surely heard those beautiful words: "Well done, good and faithful servant."

The family will also host a Celebration of Life at our home office at 1500 Lauderdale Memorial Hwy in Charleston on Saturday, November 2nd from 12:00 - 2:00PM. As one of his daughters said this morning, “if you knew Robert at all, he wouldn’t want you to think you have to miss work!”
