Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Thank you to all who have served, those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who continue to serve our communities and our country every day. ❤️🤍

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer travel, but it also brings an increase in impaired driving crashes.

If you choose to drink, make a plan for a safe ride home. Don’t drink and drive. Safety First!

Memorial Day weekend marks the start of the summer travel season, but the data on drunk driving crashes tell a sobering story.

If you drink, don't drive — plan a SAFE ride. ✅

Please join us in congratulating Officer Allison Englum, who was nominated by her peers and selected by a panel of students who reviewed the nominations. Her dedication, initiative, and commitment to excellence continue to strengthen the University Police Department and enhance the safety of Eastern Illinois University.

As a Field Training Officer and coordinator, she leads by example, arriving early, supporting her teammates, stepping up to take on additional responsibilities, and bringing forward ideas that benefit the entire team. In just a short time, she has made a lasting impact, and her legacy is only beginning.

Congratulations, Allison Englum!

Shout out to Jon Crask for creating and donating the amazing wood plaque! Your craftsmanship and generosity are truly appreciated. Thank you for supporting the team and helping make this so special!
