Caidlake Transport Inc is a small family owned and operated business. We currently operate local end dump( Coal), OTR end dump, tanker (liquid asphalt propane and butane), pneumatic tanker, and sand box chassis.

Rough start to our day , Started out losing a Lift pump on our white truck. But we ended the day helping out someone else with their own truck issues and got them to our local Diesel mechanic! Caidlake Transport Inc took care of both of these trucks today! Thank you to those guys for always looking out for us and those we bring in with us!

⭐️ Caidlake Diesel Repair is currently seeking a Shop Foreman /lead mechanic.

Position Overview:
The Shop Foreman will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate repair schedules, supervise mechanics, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a safe, productive work environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assign and manage daily workloads for
shop technicians

• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine
and equipment issues

• Ensure repairs are completed on time and
meet quality standards

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work
environment

• Train, mentor, and evaluate mechanics and
apprentices

• Communicate with customers on repair
progress and technical concerns

• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and
supplies

• Work closely with management to improve
shop efficiency

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience (heavy-duty truck or equipment)
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

On Friday, May 2, one of our drivers was heading home when he witnessed the accident. The video footage shows the driver noticing the vehicle veering toward the center of both lanes and initiating a cautious slowdown, providing ample time to stop without sudden braking and potentially causing another accident. We are grateful for our Caidlake team's and other drivers' unwavering dedication to safety, courtesy, and cautious driving, prioritizing both personal and public well-being.
