We were honored to participate in a last ride today. Unfortunately, it hit a little closer to home than we would have liked. Our sidecar gurl, Kesi the Siberian Husky, took her last ride today as we prepare for her end of life appointment at the vet tomorrow. She has logged many miles in the sidecar in 3 states. She was the perfect sidecar dog...she jumped in and rode with no training, and loved it . Fighting an increasingly aggressive tumor on her thyroid since November, the drugs lost their effectiveness and the tumor doubled in size the last few weeks. It has finally effected her ability to eat and breathe, and her quality of life has crashed. We will make sure she has a great day. (Pizza, treats, & whipped cream is on the menu...and chocolate tomorrow)
