Job description

Full-time Class C- Delivery Driver for Large Bobtail and Flatbed Trucks.

MUST be able to respond to emergency deliveries within minutes.) *

We are seeking partners to join our team for immediate work.

You would be required to pick up and deliver large loads within an hour.

We service a 50-mile radius of Buena Park, California.

YOU MUST MEET ALL THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

•YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO RESPOND TO EMERGENCY DELIVERIES (Sorry no exceptions.)

Must possess a clean driving record (NO TICKETS OR ACCIDENTS.)

Must be able to pass a Government security clearance.

Must have open schedule availability to work morning or afternoons.

Must be able to climb on and off vehicles.

Must be comfortable with physical labor.

Must be able to lift, load, and unload freight 100+ pounds onto the vehicle.

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our customers in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego Counties in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.

Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process.

Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Skills

Proven work experience as a truck driver.

Hands-on experience with electronic and mechanical equipment and dispatching client software (Android or IOS Apps)

Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.

No recent moving or driving violations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)

Valid Class C driving license.
