I have to tell you all I had an epiphany two days ago. Which should have been clear to me right away. Well I have said many times how God not only saved my life but kept me almost pain free through this accident recovery. Well since my cast was removed my arm has been very painful and i know I am in therapy to loosen my contracted muscles but the pain was 24 7 causing me to take a lot of ibuprofen and Tylenol .
You all know I have lived the keto life and watch my sugar and carbs. And in the last few weeks I have been drinking a lot of sweet tea which I never even make at my house. I have been drinking as much as a gallon a day and also ate a box of whoppers and bag of candy corn. I love candy corn. And it hit me right between the eyes . Lynette …. You know sugar causes inflammation….! DUH! I stopped sugar immediately and within 24 hours my pain was gone!! I mean gone I haven’t had Tylenol in two days. So if you have chronic pain or are healing in some way. Please keep in mind how harmful sugar is to healing our body!

Just realized today is 2 months since this freak accident. I have come so far. I have had so much support from family and friends ! I thank everyone who prayed and text or called or visited me in hospital and at home. I still have some healing but hope to get my cast off next Friday which will be the last of the pins and wraps and slings and casts! Hallelujah. Still praying for the functionality of my arm when cast is gone as the ulna was not able to be repaired as it shattered quite a bit. But regardless I am thankful to be here with my kids and grands. Tell your loved ones daily you love them cause life can change in an instant. As me and Sara can testify too as she had her head on collision just weeks ago with all three kids in the car.
