Tripping for Southern Towing on the M/V Dinnis Collins. Got to get use to pushing 1 barge again. Use to pushing 3 with Bow Boat. 422’ is a lot different than 1200’+. Thanking God Everyday for What I got instead of Complaining what I haven’t got. We Went Through Last Year’ a Terrible Time in History. We can & will Over Come These Obstacles.

My company Name is Garnett Marine & Landscape’ I decided to take break off the Boats & Do adventure on land. Needing some Young Buck’s that can lift & through 50lb to 100lb. Over a railing of 26’ trailer.

This was about 5.4 years ago’ but this is How to Do the Brazos Flood Gates in high waters. Most Companies Won’t let You Take Two Across! I Say’ You Pay The Wheelhouse Operator A Good Pay Scale, Let Him Decide. Never made sense to Me! If the Operator hit it with the first barge’ Most likely He’d Hit It Again with the Second barge. This Way if He Hit the gates or walls, it would be only One Incident instead of Two........ JS. Wheelhouse Should determine if He can do it or not! Pay accordingly for what He can & cannot Do! Better Pay for Better Wheelman! That’s what I’d Say.
