We had the honor of riding out to Memphis Wrestling in style, chauffeuring none other than Vince Russo in the limo. Known as one of the most controversial head writers during the WWF’s Attitude Era and later in WCW, Russo helped pioneer that fast-paced, edgy “Crash TV” style and shifted WWF to adult oriented content, creating iconic segments for stars like “Stone Cold”, Steve Austin, and The Undertaker — full of wild storylines, unexpected swerves, and moments that changed wrestling forever. He’s credited with boosting WWF ratings in the late 90s, while also being one of the most debated figures in wrestling history.
And it didn’t stop there… we also had Caleb Konley riding with us, best known for his time in Impact Wrestling and continuing to make moves on the independent circuit.
From legends to stars still climbing, Memphis Wrestling got a little extra VIP treatment this weekend.
