Boise Yellow Cab is a local, family owned business that has been servicing the Treasure Valley with taxi rides for nearly 50 years. We pride ourselves on offering prompt, reliable, safe and enjoyable cab rides in town. AND, we have cabs out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you can call us anytime you need a ride.Clean, new cabs and friendly, professional drivers are our standard. Plus, we’re doing

our part for the planet by running a fleet of eco-friendly, fuel efficient vehicles.Throughout our years in the cab biz, we’ve discovered (and delightfully embraced), that driving a taxi transforms a person into a psychologist, veterinarian, priest, arbitrator, mentor, liar, doctor, counselor, mechanic, believer, doubter, hater, politician, lover, caretaker, and teller of silly stories....who drives. And it’s this discovery that sets us apart from all other cab companies in the City of Trees. Because when you ride with Boise Yellow Cab, you’re not just taking a taxi ride, you’re taking a short journey with a trusted friend.Call us today, and let us be a part of the places you’re going in life! 208-345-5555 or 208-333-0333.

Just a reminder ...We love our Valley ..respect .....everyone needs to hear THANKS VALLEY COUNTY SHERIFFS, AND CASCADE POLICE DEPT. FOR ALL THE HARD WORD YOU ALL DO ..

Well, it's finally here....and it's living up to our expectations.

The traffic is already heavy through the city of Cascade.
Just a reminder if you don't have to travel Highway 55 this weekend through Tuesday, we suggest you don't. We don't want to scare anyone off or dissuade people from coming up and enjoying the beauty of Valley County, but realistically if you have been out of Country and are not aware of the Solar Eclipse, now is not the time for a "Sunday drive." If you have decided to be brave and battle the crowds, please be safe and considerate of other and follow these simple tips:

1. Don't trespass - if you don't have permission to be on someone's property, then don't do it. There are plenty of public places to view the eclipse and park or camp.

2. Clean up after yourself - this event is going to put a stress on our public work departments and Parks departments with all of the trash. If you bring it in, bring it out.

3. Be considerate and find your patience - we find that lack of patience and consideration is a big influence on the calls we receive. Don't drive recklessly. This is not the time to be in a hurry. Passing 10 cars at a time or passing in general is not really going to get you anywhere when the traffic is as heavy as it is. Plan ahead, leave early. Oh and a lot of people nowadays have cell phones and like to video tape things or call things in as they are happening, we get a lot of these calls daily, so keep in mind you might be on camera.

4. How you can help us - Unfortunately we can't foresee the future and we can't expect what is going to happen. We are planning for the worst and expecting the best, as always. We are out in full force this weekend as well as our surrounding agencies. But it is helpful when our beloved community members and tourist also help us out by behaving themselves and keeping an eye out for each other and us. We have complete faith in all of you that this will be accomplished.

5. Be safe and enjoy yourself! - wear your glasses for the Eclipse, it's dangerous for your eyes if you don't. You can still get them around many of our local businesses and the Library. NO DRINKING AND DRIVING! Just don't do it. Call a friend or a taxi, we have several to choose from. Wear your seat belt! It's the law and we give out tickets for it, it could save your life and you're worth it! Keep hydrated, it's hot! Especially this weekend, you could be in the car for a while, bring a snack, don't get hangry.

We want you to have a good time. We just ask that you be smart, safe and sane. Be respectful of others and of property.
IF you do need us, call our dispatch center at 208-382-5160😁 we are here 24/7.

Have a fantastic weekend!!
