Please help support us and potentially win over $350 in gift cards! We have extensive bus repairs needing to be done. We have a mechanic giving us a great deal on labor but parts are going to be nearly as much as the labor. We need a new head gasket, new radiator, rear brake work, & front and rear suspension work. I'm currently pricing parts to find the best deals on price and shipping but we're looking at least $1500 for all the parts & $2500 in labor. We also have regular expenses like vaccines, food, litter, medicines, vet care, flea meds, and hopefully transport expenses (gas, insurance, etc) again soon. No rescue money or donations go to me for any household expenses (utilities, cleaning supplies, laundry, etc). Please help us out. Come out to the Autumn Jamboree in downtown Bluefield, VA! We are selling Shaved Ice to raise money for spay/neuter of our fosters and to help fix Big Bertha Blue...our beloved shuttle bus that decided to blow a head gasket, crack a radiator, need leaf springs for suspension, and have a leak in one of her rear brake calipers. Come support us so we can get back up and running full force soon!

We have a transport to Mountain View Humane on Monday May 12th and have several spots that have opened up unexpectedly!

We also have a feral cat transport on June 13th and have several spots available if anyone is interested. Feral cats are only $45!!!!

A man was grazed by a bullet after police say his dog's paw got stuck in a gun trigger guard, causing the weapon to fire.

Hello all! Sorry for the hiatus but we're back and will be posting more often. We've had a hard couple of months. I lost my Edward in December. He was my 17-year old kitty that I'd had since he was about a week old. He and his brother Alphonse were my first 2 bottle babies and how I got my start into cat rescue on my own. Holidays were hard. I lost my dad earlier this year and I missed hearing his voice and seeing him. Then I lost a couple foster kittens that I was very close to in January to some weird neurological illness. I've also taken in 14 cats & kittens from the Cheesy Creek Colony that had been abandoned (there is still a lady feeding them but their primary care-taker had left her house and left them to fend for themselves). Good Ol' Bertha Blue (our bus) helped us move my mom into her new house but decided to develop a misfire. Thankfully it was a fairly easy fix but we decided to fix the squeaky belt pulleys, instrument cluster that would die randomly, install a backup camera, replace the back door handle with one that locks so its more secure when we sleep overnight, & get an oil change in preparation for our next trip up north this weekend! We will be taking ~30 cats to NY & VT rescues.

Basically all of this to say: WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Please donate to help us cover the repairs for the bus, the recent intake of 14 cats from a feral colony, & gas for the transport!! I'm still waiting on approval from the Paypal Giving Fund to be able to set up direct donations on Facebook, so until then you can send money via Paypal or Venmo. Next cat trip is December 11th!

I have 10 spots (5 male & 5 female) for dogs on December 4th! I'll be posting a flyer & sign up form soon!

I have an opening for 2 female dogs for spays on Monday Nov 11. Drop off will be at Tractor Supply . If you're interested please let me know as soon as possible. Dog spay price is $130 which includes the surgery, pain meds, & rabies vaccine. Payment is due at or before drop-off.
