And THIS is exactly why I do private pet transport with only one pet at a time, why I will never co-mingle animals (unless it is multiples from the same litter) and why I do strictly NO PAWS ON THE GROUND! This is also why I am so fanatical about cleaning my equipment between every transport! Kennels and car seats get sprayed down with Rescue disinfectant, plastic surfaces in the car are wiped down with Rescue wipes, all bedding and pet laundry goes into the washing machine on a heavy duty/triple rinse cycle that starts with a 15 minute pre-soak in a heavy bleach concentration. After the first cycle finishes, it gets put back through a second heavy duty/triple rinse cycle, and then it goes through a third time with a steam wash cycle before it goes into the dryer on high heat and is finally finished off with a 30 minute steam cycle in the dryer. Yes, it is very time-consuming, but I will always do everything in my power to protect every single pet that gets transported with Kat's Pet Transport Service. There is so much out there that young puppies can catch, and I do everything humanly possible to protect them while they are in my care.

Okay folks, buckle up because I'm about to give you the CliffsNotes version of my month, and it's been a wild ride. Kat's been zigzagging across the East Coast like a pro, and I'm not just talking about my travel schedule, although that's been pretty crazy too. When we last spoke, I had just flown Smoosh to her new home in Phoenix, AZ, where she was greeted by her big brother Paxton, a Goldador with a heart of gold. I landed back in NY at the stroke of midnight on the 9th, and let me tell you, I was ready for some serious shut-eye. But no rest for the weary, I was up bright and early the next morning to pick up Remy from Muddy Paw Acres, who was off to live her best life with two gorgeous fur sisters in rural PA. And that was just the beginning. It was back to Muddy Paws on the 11th to pick up a gorgeous trio, all headed to new families within an hour of each other in MA. First up was Mickey, followed by the sweet Alfie, who's going to have a new little human to watch over - how exciting is that? Last but not least was Moose, who's got a feline sibling and two adorable boys to keep him on his toes. Monday the 13th, I was off and running again, this time to Kayla Pine Grove Goldens to pick up a sweet Golden and a Golden Mountain Dog, both headed to new homes in NY and PA. The next day, it was back to Kayla's to grab another sweet GMD, this one bound for MA. I rounded out the week with the tiny but mighty AppleJack, a spitfire of a pup who had a lot to say for himself, despite weighing in at just under 3 lbs. His new mama was over the moon for him. And finally, there was Penelope from Blessed Bassets in Ohio, who found her perfect match with a family who's going to love and cherish her. I had a last-minute cancellation, which gave me a chance to catch my breath before the next leg of my journey. Monday, I'm off to Louisiana, but first, I've had some much-needed family time - baseball with the grandson, a movie date with my resident Michael Jackson fanatic, softball games with the granddaughter, and a birthday celebration for my brother. Stay tuned, folks, there are many more adventures to come, and I'm just getting started.

Who is Kat’s and what sets them apart from other transport companies?

Kat's Pet Transport Service is a private transport service owned and operated by myself. I am located on the East Coast in the Southern Tier of NY. I only handle one pet at a time. I pick up from the breeder and deliver straight to the buyer. No multiple stops or deliveries. As a result, my prices may be higher than some transport companies but what you are getting in return is your pet delivered straight to you by a fully insured animal bailee with no risk of illnesses that may come from co-mingling before your new pet's immune system is fully protected. The ONLY exception to the one pet at a time rule is if I am delivering more than one puppy from the same litter.

My car and the kennel your pet travels in are cleaned and sanitized with Veterinarian approved Rescue Disinfectant after every transport. I also spray my seats, floors, doors and every other surface in my vehicle. Bedding is washed in hot water with bleach. Food and water bowls are run through the dishwasher. I take every precaution to keep your most precious cargo safe and healthy. You have my word on that!!! Your new baby will receive the best possible care with their safety and comfort my #1 priority. They get my sole attention and will be well cared for by me during the duration of their time with me, as all of my clients can tell you. I stay in touch with both the buyer and the seller for the entirety of the trip with updates. I am professional, proficient and passionate about pets.
