On Saturday, April 25, 2026, New York City will hold its Car-Free Earth Day, causing major street closures from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, with events running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
Key affected areas include Broadway in Manhattan (17thβ46th St), St. Nicholas Ave (181stβ185th St), and parts of Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn.

Manhattan: Broadway from 17th Street to 46th Street.

Manhattan: Dyckman Street from Broadway to La Marina/Inwood Hill Park.

Staten Island: Port Richmond Avenue from Castleton Avenue to Bennett Street.
Hours: Closures are active from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..
