One strap. One broken pallet. 40ft container from overseas. 🤦‍♂️

Metal studs leaning on a pallet that already gave up somewhere on the ocean.

No blocking. No bracing. Just vibes and a ratchet strap.

Now we gotta pull this apart piece by piece without it coming down on somebody.

Who loaded this and what were they thinking?

Opened this trailer and buckets were rolling out at me. 🤦‍♂️

Pails stacked 3 high on pallets with ONE thin layer of wrap. No corner boards. No load bars.

First hard brake and the whole back half came down.

Now the driver's sitting at our dock paying for a restack he didn't cause.

Shippers... how do you even ship pails like this?

How does this even happen? 😮 How would you prevent this?

Carriers always get blamed but let's be real.

Shippers load these trucks like absolute garbage then we're the ones who have to pay for restacks.

Had another call today about this exact thing.

Why are drivers taking the hit for someone else's mess?

You can't blame the driver for this one.

Same situation, same product, same loading crew making the exact same mistake. Those pallets should be sideways and actually pressed together.

Look at that gap. That's why everything's leaning.

Who’s at fault here?

Trailer arrived sealed.

No dunnage bags.

Load shifted in transit.

The driver couldn’t inspect it because the trailer was sealed by the shipper.

So who takes the blame?

The shipper for not securing the freight?

The driver for accepting the load?

Or someone else?

Curious to hear what drivers, warehouse teams, and shippers think. Drop your answer below

Some warehouses have absolutely no business loading trailers.

Had a driver come in yesterday with half his pallets leaning.

Guy drove 600 miles just to find out the load wasn’t secured properly.

Now he’s missing his delivery appointment and paying for a restack.

All because someone couldn’t take 10 minutes to load it right.

And guess who gets blamed?

The driver.

How does this keep happening?

Shipper loaded this produce terrible

First hard brake and the whole trailer looked like dominoes.

Then somehow the driver gets blamed for “load shift.”

Some warehouses really be loading freight like it’s a game of Tetris.
