Took a group of 6 ladies to Caseville for a responsible afternoon out on the town today!

Looking forward;

June 13th I am gone to Warren, Michigan to represent Thumb Allied Skate Inc and The Bad Axe Skate Park at Eckstein Skate Park for The Creative Grindfest.

Father's Day Weekend, June 19th-21st I am camping with my family and will be unavailable.

July 1st I'm headed to Detroit with the wife to get our Jamaica on with Steven Marley & Buju Banton and will be unavailable.

July 30th-August 1st I'll be at Hocking Hills, Ohio with the family and will be unavailable.

Have a great Memorial Day. Thank you to our servicemen and women. Today, I remember Army Combat Medic Brian Backus, a childhood friend, who gave his life bravely in Afghanistan. There is a walking trail in Harbor Beach built in his honor. You might see me there.

Helped out 4 vacationers last weekend and brought a snow bird back home to Port Austin from Bishop Airport this weekend.

Just a short PSA, I won't do any last minute calls short of emergencies and I'll explain why...

I plan every day weeks and sometimes months in advance. If nobody calls ahead then I assume I can get some rest before I need to focus on the next task. I may miss your call entirely at 11pm at night because I didn't know I needed to plan ahead for you.

Even if you aren't sure and want someone on standby, letting me know well beforehand can eliminate stress on both sides. I appreciate those that display that courtesy. Thank you 😊

Thumb Area Chauffeurs is a premium after hours chauffeuring service and touring company by day for 1 to 7 passengers in Huron County. We also service local festivals, weddings, and vacationers. We do not do grocery pickups, UBER/LYFT or medical appointments. When convenient, I will do airport transfers to MBJ, Bishop, & DTW airports.

I am typically available all day Thursday, Friday and Saturdays on an on call basis but I recommend reserving your dates or tours ahead of time for a flawless exchange- especially if it lands on a weekday! Thank you for your support.

One of my favorite return groups to Port Austin dropped in this weekend! They were celebrating a divorce so the car conversation was extra spicy!

One lady said something last night that stuck with me...

"Mike, you're the best driver. I wish you drove for us down in the city because I'd call you up all the time! Your rides are fun, you are always on time and reliable and you have fun doing it which makes all the difference!"

Thumb Area Chauffeurs helped 7 women celebrate a divorce party safely after dark in Huron County on Friday AND AGAIN on Saturday. I also did a transfer from Washington to Caseville that put me in the drivers seat for 4 hours Saturday morning! A busy weekend by my standards!

I appreciate my new and repeat groups and customers and have a future announcement from Thumb Area Chauffeurs to make!

!!!!! New for 2026, I will be offering Hi-Def 4k photography and drone footage for your vacation tour! I am working hard on my part 107 Pilots License allowing me to fly commercially !!!!!!

Sunrise/Sunset Pictures? Turtle Rock? Lavender farms or Sunflower fields? Beach pictures? Jetski or Boat rental? Your inspired idea for group or individual pictures can happen anywhere in Huron County and should be available to book by Summer, God willing I pass the exam 🙏 😉
