Rainey St is one of Austin's best group nights out: a single block of historic bungalows turned into bars, a few minutes' walk from downtown. A party bus makes it easy, as long as you plan around the street itself.
Start early. Rainey's bars fill quickly on Friday and Saturday nights. Getting there before 9 means your whole group gets in together instead of splitting up in lines.

Stage the pickup a block over. Rainey Street is narrow and the curbs are packed with rideshares all night. We agree a pickup spot nearby before the night begins, so everyone knows where to walk at the end.
