Beginning May 30, 2026, fare payment will be required to ride
MARTA as new fare gates and emergency exit doors close systemwide.

Customers can tap to ride using:
✔️Credit or debit card
✔️Mobile wallet
✔️New Breeze card or ticket
✔️Virtual Breeze card in Apple, Google, or Samsung Wallet

As gates close this weekend, customers are reminded not to force gates open. Fare evasion and vandalism are punishable by law.

Tue. 5/26, Wed. 5/27, & Thu. 5/28: Gold/Red lines operate on 10-24 minute single tracking schedules; Blue/Green lines operate on normal weekday schedules.

👋 Heads up, SEC District riders!

🚧 Starting today, the west entrance & pedestrian bridge will be closed until June 10 for installation of new wayfinding and artwork celebrating FIFA World Cup and some of Atlanta’s home teams, the Falcons and Atlanta United.

➡️ Use the State Farm Arena (east) entrance to enter and exit the station.

🚶 Heading to Mercedes-Benz Stadium or GWCC? Use the street level access.

✨ New signage will help riders better navigate the station during FIFA World Cup and future events!

🚨 MARTA Service Update

Beginning May 30, 2026, fare payment will be required to ride MARTA as new fare gates and emergency exit doors close systemwide.

Customers can tap to ride using:

✔️ Mobile wallet
✔️ New Breeze card or ticket
✔️ Virtual Breeze card in Apple, Google, or Samsung Wallet

Please note:
⚠️ Old Breeze cards and the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app are no longer accepted on the new Breeze system.

Ticket vending machines are now available at almost all rail stations. Customers should be prepared to pay fare before entering the system to avoid getting trapped inside stations where construction is ongoing.

Thank you for your patience as we continue upgrading to the Better Breeze system for a faster, easier customer experience.
