Such a sweet story. Truckers are mostly referred to with negativity, but truth is… most of the ones we know are more like this!

"Pulled into a rest area on I-15 northbound. A young family with three little boys and mom was 8 months pregnant. They were trying to make back home to Oregon. They were taking a picture of the boys sitting on a boulder next to my truck. The boys had never been that close to a big truck. I invited them in. They all got to blow the air horn, set the brakes and check it out.

Later in the evening, I took my dog for a walk. The family was going to sleep in their tiny car. They only had a few jello cups to eat and water from the drinking fountain. They were saving all their money for gas. I carry enough cash for emergencies. I went to my truck and gathered it up. I pulled the dad aside, told him to take his family to the next town and get a hotel. The next morning they were all standing on top of an over pass, just to wave at me.

A few months later, I received a letter in the mail from them. They named their baby after me."
