Sean and Joe running this time with Nate from Cross Country Boat Transport. We helped relocate this Wellcraft 390 Coastal from Commonwealth Boat, RV, Aircraft in Ashland, VA to Marine Services Corporation in Dolton, IL. Except for navigating through the snow storm going over the Pennsylvania mountains on US-40, it was a very smooth trip.

Sean and Joe running with Mike of Miles Marine LLC from Pulaski, WI to Brick, NJ. We had to traverse some really interesting routes through Pennsylvania with I-68 being restricted in WV, but it was very beautiful scenery. It was a safe trip for this brand new Cruisers Yacht from the factory to the MarineMax dealer.

This started out to be a really quick trip from Florida to Northport, MI with Brian from Horizon Marine Transport. That was until Michigan showed how completely dysfunctional their superload process is setup. We were forced to sit 6 days at the line waiting on the permit all because one County Engineer in the northern part of the mitten decided to procrastinate signing off on the paperwork. It took the boat owner’s connections with a state Senator to force the County Engineer to do his job. Once that call was made, Brian had the permit in his email within an hour. Not being able to sue the county to recoup loss of revenue and cost of downtime, we at least hope there’s some form of reprimand to this County Engineer for the thousands of dollars he cost everyone involved.

We assisted Gary from Russell Marine bring this beautiful Viking 43 from Chester, MD to Sturgeon Bay, WI. It was a smooth run until the wind in central Illinois decided to shred the shrink wrap in an area we couldn’t get to for repairs. It was a good thing those same earthbound winds brought in some great weather for the remainder of the trip. The customer was very appreciative of the care we all took in bringing it home safely.
