The Alma Transit Center is experiencing issues with our dispatching software. This is the latest update that we received from our software provider: We are aware of an issue with Amazon Web Service, our cloud infrastructure provider, that may be impacting your ability to access and use the dispatch software, and connectivity issues in the driver app. We are working with the Amazon Web Service' team and will update you as soon as possible

Great news for the start of the school year!

I don't think that I have ever been more excited to make a post in my career, but I just got official word from the Public Services Director that Pine Avenue will be OPEN by 8:00pm tonight for traffic and will be accessible for the first day of school tomorrow!

Please keep in mind that while the road will be open, the project is not finished and there will still be some finishing touches being done in the coming weeks, so please be courteous to crews still working in the area. Also remember that this is a school zone with heavy vehicle and foot traffic so please drive slow and be aware of your surroundings.

Thank you to the crews for working tirelessly to get this project to a point that we can open the road before school starts, and thank you to everyone for your patience this summer while we worked on this major project.

Important Notice from Alma Transit Center:

Starting August 4th, 2025, the Alma Transit Center will begin accepting reservations for school-age children who need recurring transportation to and from school.

If you would like to schedule regular rides for your child, please contact us as early as possible. Space is limited, and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
