The Olsen family from the USA—what a fun bunch! So many memories packed into such a short visit. I learned so much from them too.

And guess what—Grace (mom) is a Filipina raised in the States. Such an honour to host you!

Katey is an absolute gem—smart, creative, and definitely on her way to becoming a doctor. All the best, future Doc!

Sam and Bob? Total Formula 1 fans. Thank God they got their paddock photos—mission accomplished! 🏁 Hope to see you guys at the next race!

But what I admire most—seeing a family travel together like this. Watching how Sam and Katey care for their parents was so heartwarming. The respect they show? Through the roof.

Grace and Bob, you’ve truly raised your kids so well. It shows in every little moment ❤️

What an absolute honour showing Singapore to this fun-loving group of 6 from Florida! 🇸🇬✨
From day one, it felt less like a tour and more like travelling with old friends. The jokes never stopped—honestly, I think we laughed our way through every stop (and maybe scared a few other tourists along the way 😂).

They came, they saw… and they survived durian! 🥴💪 Not exactly love at first bite, but major respect for the bravery! That’s the true Singapore experience right there.

Special mention to Mr. Mike Smith, author of Post Woman—I’ve started reading it and so far, so good… don’t worry, Mike, I’ll finish it before your next visit 😆📖

And Ms. Carla… I’ve never seen someone celebrate their birthday this many times in 4 days. Honestly, we might just make it a Singapore tradition now 🎂🎉

Four days was definitely not enough—we barely scratched the surface (and the food list!).

Looks like round 2 is already needed.

I had the pleasure of hosting a vibrant mum and son from England, and we embarked on an adventure to Night Safari, Gardens by the Bay, and a scenic cable car ride to Sentosa.

It was heartwarming to see this mum and son sharing precious moments together.

I had an absolute blast learning and laughing with them.

“You should try everything to experience it!” — those were the exact words from John when we were talking about the amazing food we have here in Singapore.

Without thinking twice, I offered him some durian — my absolute favourite fruit (though I know it’s not everyone’s favourite!). It was such an honour to share one of my favourite local treats with him.

And did you notice his shirt? An Eagles fan all the way from Philly! 🦅

I had the privilege of leading a full-day tour for Uganda diplomats. Showcasing this stunning city was a true delight. Moreover, I learned a great deal from every person. The tour was filled with joyful moments. One aspect I cherish about my job is the happiness it brings and the opportunity to share my expertise about this beautiful city.

Trying some local food from Seah Im Foos Centre

Seah Im Food Centre is a beloved hawker centre located at 2 Seah Im Road, Singapore 099114, just opposite HarbourFront MRT station and VivoCity. It reopened on March 13, 2023, after a six-month renovation that introduced new amenities such as upgraded ventilation systems, new exhaust hoods, toilets, tables, and stools, enhancing the dining experience for patrons .

Seah Im Food Centre is easily accessible via HarbourFront MRT station (Circle Line or Northeast Line) and is a short walk from the HarbourFront Bus Interchange .

If you're planning a visit, consider arriving slightly before peak meal times to avoid long queues. Enjoy your culinary adventure!
