Green GSM is aware of a social media video depicting a purported prank involving a vehicle operating under the Green GSM brand.
Based on our initial review, the activity shown in the video was conducted without Green GSM’s prior knowledge, approval, or authorization. The driver involved did not inform the company before participating and did not report the incident immediately thereafter. Green GSM was not involved in the planning, production, or publication of the content, to our knowledge.
We fully recognize the concerns raised by the video. Any conduct that could reasonably create fear, alarm, confusion, or the perception of criminal activity is inconsistent with the professional, safety, operational, and customer service standards expected of drivers operating under the Green GSM brand. Green GSM does not permit the use of company-affiliated vehicles or services in activities that may lead the public to believe a crime or safety incident is occurring.
Green GSM maintains strict policies, training requirements, and operational standards designed to promote passenger safety, public trust, and responsible conduct.
In this regard, we have initiated a thorough internal review and are gathering all relevant facts. Appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations upon completion of the review. As part of this process, we are also assessing the circumstances of the incident and identifying any measures necessary to strengthen oversight and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
We are also cooperating with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), where appropriate, and will continue to provide any information or assistance required throughout its review.
The safety of our passengers, the trust of the public, and responsible operations remain our highest priorities. Green GSM remains committed to upholding the standards expected by our passengers, partners, regulators, and the communities we serve.
